On the Periodic Table of Elements, palladium is one of the platinum group metals (PGMs), which includes platinum, rhodium, ruthenium, iridium and osmium. Of these, palladium has the lowest melting point and lowest mass density. On May 3, 2021 the spot price for palladium was $2,981.40 per ounce, while gold was $1,792.68 per ounce.
